About
Creative Interiors was established in 1992 and is a full-service interior design firm and window treatment business serving residential and commercial clients across northern and central Michigan. We work closely with our clients, contractors, and suppliers during the design process to transform our clients’ interior design dreams into reality.
In addition to our well-established residential and professional client list, we also work with other interior designers and decorators to design, fabricate, and install custom window fashions, bedding, and accessories. Our clients, designers, and decorators value and appreciate our product availability, customer service, dependability, handcrafted products, and the quality of our work.
Our Team
In addition to the Creative Interiors staff, we consider our team to include contractors and specialty trades like electricians, finish carpenters, fabricators, furniture makers, wallpaper installers, and upholstery workrooms. We take pride in working with the best resources available for our clients.

Carol Sobieski-Gall
Principle Designer
Carol is a third-generation small business owner and holds a Michigan Residential Builder’s License. She graduated from Central Michigan University and later returned as a part-time faculty member in the Interior Design program. She enjoys working with clients and contractors and building relationships. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and playing with her grandchildren. She considers the most rewarding aspect of her work to be creating beautiful spaces for families to gather and enjoy.

Taylor Blick
Designer
Taylor is a Central Michigan University alumni majoring in Interior Design. She is our 3D Model and CAD expert and can bring your ideas to life. It is rewarding for her to contribute to the project team and her greatest enjoyment is a client who is happy with the end result. Taylor enjoys spending time with family, gardening, working on her home, and reading.

Lori Wangberg
Office Manager
Lori is a graduate of Central Michigan University and initially worked in a local hospital. She later returned to CMU where she was employed in medical records and as a Health Educator; she has since retired from the healthcare industry. Lori prides herself on a client-based approach, which carries over from her time helping patients of all ages. She loves conversing with clients and feels good customer service is critical. In her free time, she enjoys fun and joking around with family and friends; she has learned over time it's important to have a good sense of humor.

Area
We enjoy traveling as far south as downtown Detroit; to Burt Lake to the north; to Midland, Freeland, and Bay City to the east; and to Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Boyne City in the northwest. When working on projects outside of our immediate area, we utilize photos, email, and technology whenever possible.
