About
Creative Interiors was established in 1992 and is a full-service interior design firm and window treatment business serving residential and commercial clients across northern and central Michigan. We work closely with our clients, contractors, and suppliers during the design process to transform our clients’ interior design dreams into reality.
In addition to our well-established residential and professional client list, we also work with other interior designers and decorators to design, fabricate, and install custom window fashions, bedding, and accessories. Our clients, designers, and decorators value and appreciate our product availability, customer service, dependability, handcrafted products, and the quality of our work.
Our Team
In addition to the Creative Interiors staff, we consider our team to include contractors and specialty trades like electricians, finish carpenters, fabricators, furniture makers, wallpaper installers, and upholstery workrooms. We take pride in working with the best resources available for our clients.
Carol Sobieski-Gall
Principle Designer
​Carol is a third-generation small business owner and holds a Michigan Residential Builder’s License. She graduated from Central Michigan University and later returned as a part-time faculty member in the Interior Design program. She enjoys working with clients and contractors and building relationships. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and playing with her grandchildren. She considers the most rewarding aspect of her work to be creating beautiful spaces for families to gather and enjoy.

Taylor Blick
Senior Designer
​Taylor is a Central Michigan University alumna who majored in Interior Design and has 10+ years of experience in the field. She is our 3D Model and CAD expert, bringing your ideas to life. It is rewarding for her to contribute to the project team, and her greatest enjoyment is a client who is happy with the final result. Taylor enjoys spending time with family, gardening, working on her home, and reading.

Meah Machuta
Office Manager
Meah is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She previously underwrote mortgages in the metro Detroit area before moving back to Mid-Michigan with her family. Meah believes that excellent client service is critical to a well-run business and goes out of her way to ensure our clients are well cared for. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Area
We are able to travel as far south as downtown Detroit; as far north as Burt Lake; as far east as Midland, Freeland, and Bay City; and as far northwest as Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Boyne City. When working on projects outside of our immediate area, we utilize 3D modeling technology, photos, and email whenever possible.
