More Details About Our Interior Design Services
In General
Plans, drawings, and 3D computer models are used to help our clients visualize the end result. We work with architects, tradesmen, and suppliers who understand that effective communication and working relationships are vital to success. Early involvement in new construction or renovation planning is preferred.
First Contact
Our journey begins once you contact us by email or phone. We will discuss your project and schedule an appointment at your home or office or our studio. Clients are encouraged to create a list of questions and concerns and email site photos to us prior to the consultation.
Initial Site Visit
At the initial meeting, we will discuss your unique challenges, desires, and requirements and then explore possible options based on your criteria. We will discuss your project scope and set expectations and timelines for your project. If on-site, field measurements and photographs may be taken and 3D scanning completed if required.
Proposal and Agreement
We will outline our full project scope and design fees. Once the signed proposal and deposit are received, the design process begins as outlined in the proposal.
Design Phase with Fine Tuning
Depending on the scope of your project, our design meetings may include space planning options, elevations, surfaces, fixtures and fittings, hardware, furniture selections, upholstery, wall finishes, and lighting. When we narrow down the selections to those you desire, we will source these materials and furnishings; from furniture and fabrics to flooring and surfaces, and provide any construction documentation for the tradesmen.
In the Background
Your custom design will come from a variety of resources, manufacturers and workrooms. Once orders are placed, we will work behind the scenes to organize and manage this process for you. Our expediting work may include checking stock, fabric and finish details to ensure accuracy, as well as coordinating receiving, freight, and deliveries.
Project Coordination
Many of our projects include several professionals working together to reach the same goal. You can expect us to be in regular communication with trade contractors working on your project, and onsite for walkthroughs and discussions. We work to anticipate challenges and resolve issues, so your experience is positive.
